Ultra taxi app is the leading taxi application in the whole Africa to solve Africa’s needs. The app is a true facilitation of safety, convenience, affordability and profitability.
All our drivers are vetted and scrutinized to ensure that riders get first class services as well as arriving to their destination safely.
The app offers two options for drivers; commission based and subscription based. We have the lowest commission percentage at 7% per trip. A driver may also opt for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half year or annual subscription.
Riders
To use the app follow the following steps
1. Just open the app and enter the destination
2. The app uses your current location to locate you and get the closest drivers
3. When the driver is located you are able to see his/her profile picture, vehicle details and their approaching location on the app’s map
4. Payment can be settled in various forms such as Cash, credit card, Mpesa, Paytm, Google pay, PayPal, Wechat money,. depending on the payment mode in your city
5. After the ride you are able to see the total amount to be paid or deducted from your wallet, you can rate the driver
6. A payment receipt is sent to your email with trip details
Type of vehicles
Ultra Boda
Enjoy an affordable and safe ride on a motorbike. This is the fastest mode of transport in cities as one is able to maneuver through traffic jam in the shortest time possible. In upcountry is is still the most convenient means of transport as one is able to access to all terrain and weather.
Ultra Tuk Tuk
Enjoy affordable and safe ride on a Tuk Tuk (Auto Ricksaw). This is a convenient mode of transport in most cities because of its affordability, convenience and more comfortable compared to Boda boda.
Ultra Mini
This is a cab that is less than 800cc and operates mostly in cities and convenient for rides within the cities. It is one of our most affordable modes of transport. The vehicle has a capacity of ferrying 3 passengers.
Ultra pool
Are you stuck at the bus stop? Book Ultra pool and save on your fare as you enjoy a ride with other riders heading the same direction with you. If going upcountry on holidays you can also schedule a later trip with Ultra pool and avoid the hustle as well as save yourself from the hiked fare.
Ultra Economy
These are standard vehicles with engines below 2000cc and can ferry up to 4 passengers. The rides are more comfortable compared to the Ultra mini cars. The prices are extremely higher compared to the Mini cab. However, the vehicle doesn’t accommodate much luggage because of space.
Ultra Comfort
This type of vehicle is most comfortable and consists of vehicles below 2500cc. The vehicle has more legroom and increased cargo space. In some cases you may get vehicles that can accommodate up to 7 passengers and they are ideal for airport pick up and drop off. The charges are slightly higher than the other type of vehicles. Ride in style!
Ultra Executive
This is includes the top class type of vehicles such as Mercedes, Range lovers, Land cruisers, Pajero,.. they are most convenient when booked for later trips(advance) to be availed to you. The rides are quite expensive compared to other type of cars
Ultra Tour Van
This is includes 4X4 vans usually used by tourists to visit various tourist attraction sites in the country. The Drivers are highly trained and also conversant with all the game reserves and parks. You will enjoy a well-coordinated trip with free guidance from the drivers. The vehicle has a capacity of 7 passengers.
10 seater vans
